Admission
You and your relatives are invited to visit Kingswood Home and have a cup of tea or coffee, meet the staff on duty, and discuss your requirements and any concerns. A pre-admission assessment will be carried out by the Manager to ensure we can meet all your care needs.
Care planning
All residents at Kingswood Home will be serviced by qualified staff. The Manager will draw up an individual care plan reviewing your needs and prescribing the care you should be receiving. You and your relatives can be involved in this process and it will be reviewed monthly or more frequently if there are changes in your condition. At least fifty percent of our carers are trained to either NVQ / QCF level 2 or level 3 in care.
Dementia Care
Specialist trained staff provide compassionate care and understanding and have a broad knowledge of the unique behaviour that dementia presents. Secured CCTV landscaped gardens for peace of mind where residents can feel safe.
At Kingswood we deliver person-centred care as a main priority in order to maintain a life as normal as possible, always maintaining our focus on individuals rather than the deficits associated with dementia.
We create an environment that will ensure the best quality of life possible and help to overcome the problems that may arise from dementia.
